Radiologic Technologist – X-Ray Technician (Multiple Locations - Maryland)


Patriot Urgent Care is currently seeking a Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Technician) to support multiple high-volume clinic locations. This position is designed to build a strong pipeline of candidates who can provide radiographic imaging while also supporting clinical operations as needed.

Position Overview

This role is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging and supporting providers in the examination and treatment of patients. In addition to radiology responsibilities, this position will assist with clinical and administrative tasks to support overall clinic operations.

This position may support multiple clinic locations based on business needs.

Locations include:
Dunkirk, Prince Frederick, Solomons, California, Clinton, Fort Washington, Reisterstown, Eldersburg, Germantown, Rockville, Silver Spring, Laurel, Frederick, Hagerstown, Bowie

We are seeking candidates who are detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform digital x-rays with proper positioning, shielding, and settings to produce quality images in a safe and compliant manner
  • Perform clinical intake including obtaining medical history, vital signs, and documenting within the EMR
  • Explain procedures and prepare patients and exam rooms for examination
  • Assist providers (Physician, PA, NP) with exams and procedures
  • Perform diagnostic testing (EKG, audiogram, spirometry, etc.)
  • Conduct CLIA-waived lab testing and process specimens
  • Document all services, results, and supplies accurately in patient records
  • Perform patient callbacks, referrals, and schedule follow-ups
  • Maintain and perform quality checks on medical equipment
  • Assist front office staff and perform clerical duties as needed
Qualifications and Experience
  • High school diploma required
  • Current State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to accurately read and write medical terminology
  • Basic computer skills, including EMR systems
  • Typing speed of 25 WPM with 96% accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Willingness to support both clinical and administrative functions as needed
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to support multiple clinic locations
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to transport patients safely when necessary

Compensation
Hourly Rate: $32.00 – $36.00 (based on experience, skills, and location)
