Peachtree Immediate Care has an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant (CMA / LPN / EMT) at our Sharpsburg clinic.
This is an entry-level clinical opportunity, and new graduates are encouraged to apply. Team members are cross-trained to support both front- and back-office responsibilities, providing an excellent opportunity to build hands-on experience in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
Full-time schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekend coverage. Must be willing to float between clinics as needed.

Peachtree Immediate Care is a leading urgent care operator in Georgia. Our mission is to deliver the perfect patient experience so patients can “Get in. Get out. Get better.”
Our centers provide walk-in care for injuries, illnesses, minor emergencies, occupational medicine, and family healthcare. Most centers are open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will be cross-trained to support both the front and back office, including:
- Welcome and check in patients while creating a professional, caring, and efficient clinic experience.
- Assist with patient registration, documentation, and other front-office needs.
- Prepare patients for examination and accurately document complaints, vital signs, medications, and allergies.
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies and equipment.
- Assist providers with examinations, treatments, minor procedures, wound care, and patient discharge.
- Perform lab testing, venipuncture, specimen collection, and other procedures within scope of practice.
- Administer medications as ordered by a licensed CRH provider and within applicable scope-of-practice requirements.
- Support radiographic imaging and Occupational Health services when applicable and appropriately credentialed.
- Answer and document patient calls and assist with tests, treatments, referrals, and other clinic needs.
- Follow safety, infection-control, quality, and compliance standards.
- Provide support throughout the clinic to help maintain efficient patient flow.
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program; certification preferred.
- New graduates and entry-level candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
- LPNs, EMTs, Basic Machine Operators, and Radiologic Technologists must maintain applicable current state licensure or certification.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Previous outpatient, urgent care, or clinical experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong patient-service, communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Willingness to learn and work across both front- and back-office functions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-volume healthcare environment.
- Basic computer skills and reliable transportation to commute to assigned regional locations when needed.
- Ability to work day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts based on clinic staffing needs and to transport patients by wheelchair when appropriate.
Schedule & Working Conditions
Full-time team members typically work three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekend coverage. Work may include weekends and holidays based on clinic needs.
This role may involve exposure to infectious diseases, bodily fluids, and other conditions common to a healthcare environment. Duties vary by training, licensure, certification, and applicable state regulations and are performed under the supervision of a medical provider.
