The Role
Join Peachtree Immediate Care as a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant providing timely, compassionate urgent care. Work 13–15 shifts per month alongside a collaborative clinical team, with a schedule established three months in advance, limited weekends, and no on-call responsibilities.
What You Will Do
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries; develop evidence-based care plans
- Perform urgent care procedures, including suturing, splinting, and wound care
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including X-rays and laboratory results
- Provide patient education, discharge guidance, and follow-up recommendations
- Document accurately and promptly in the EMR and follow clinical safety standards
- Partner with clinical staff to support efficient patient flow and positive patient experiences
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Georgia NP or PA license and appropriate national FNP or PA-C certification
- Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Confident clinical assessment, diagnostic, treatment, and urgent care procedure skills
- Strong communication, teamwork, patient service, and EMR documentation skills
- Knowledge of applicable HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and clinical practice requirements
- 2+ years of clinical experience as an NP or PA preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply
- Occupational health and DOT examination experience or willingness to obtain DOT certification preferred
